Batil (arapski: باطل) je arapska riječ koja znači laž,[1] i može se koristiti za opisivanje poništenog ili nevažećeg djela ili ugovora prema šerijatu.[2][3]
U ugovornom pravu, suprotnost od batila je sahih.[4] Batil se može razlikovati od fasida ("neispravnog") po tome što fasid ugovor može biti ispunjen, dok batil ugovor ne može.[5]
