Magyar: Verőce vármegye címere
Verőce vármegye címeres pecsétjét Mária Terézia adományozta 1746-ban. A barokkstílusú pajzsmezőben megtalálhatók az Árpád-kori Szlavónia hercegség, majd később, az 1496-ban II. Ulászló uralkodása alatt, Regnum Slavonie (Szlavónia Királysága) címerének elemei is. A pajzsmezőt két pólya osztja, amelyek a Drávát és a Szávát szimbolizálják. A felső mezőben lévő csillag Szlavónai címeréből való, a középső mezőben lévő futó nyesttel együtt, amely a nyestbőr-adóra utal. Az alsó mezőben lévő horgony a hajósélet jelképe.
Verőce kezdetben királyi magánuradalom volt, csak 1275-től nevezték megyének. A XVI-XVII. században török uralom alatt állt, majd a XVIII. században Szlavóniához került Verőce (Virovitica) központtal. 1867-től Horvát-Szlavonország megyéje, székhelye Eszék. A vármegye területe Eszékkel 4867 km2 volt. A trianoni békekötés (1920. jún. 4.) után az egész vármegyét a Szerb-Horvát-Szlovén Királysághoz csatolták. Jugoszlávia megszűnésével ma már Horvátország része.

Official coat of arms and flags, being defined in such a regulation, are thus in the public domain in Hungary, and also in the US, according to § 313.6(C)(2) Compendium of U.S. Copyright Office Practices, 3rd ed. 2014 (Compendium (Third)): "As a matter of longstanding public policy, the U.S. Copyright Office will not register a government edict that has been issued by any state, local, or territorial government, including legislative enactments, judicial decisions, administrative rulings, public ordinances, or similar types of official legal materials. Likewise, the Office will not register a government edict issued by any foreign government or any translation prepared by a government employee acting within the course of his or her official duties."
