Holografski višenamjenski disk[1] (Holodisk ili HVD) je napredna optička disk tehnologija koja je u fazi istraživanja i koja će povećati mogućnost smještaja raznovrsnih podataka, bolje i od Blu-ray i HD DVD optičkih disk sistema. Koristi se tehnika zvana kolinearna holografija.
Tehnologija
[uredi | uredi izvor]Trenutna tehnologija optičke pohrane podataka snima 1 bit po pulsu, a HVD alijansa se nada da unaprijedi efikasnost sa mogućnošću od oko 60.000 bita po pulsu. Visoka gustoća je moguća približavanjem tragova kod snimanja: 100 GB kod odvajanja od 18 mikrometara, 200 GB kod odvajanja od 13 mikrom, 500GB kod odvajanja od 8 mikrometara i prikazani maksimum smještaja 6 TB za širinu traga od 3 mikrometra na disku od 12 cm.
Sistem koristi laser zelene svjetlosti sa izlaznom snagom od 1 wata, velikom snagom za laser običnog korisnika.
