Funkcija
[uredi | uredi izvor]LY6G6E pripada klasteru gena leukocitnog antigena-6 (LY6) koji se nalazi u glavnom kompleksu histokompatibilnosti (MHC) klase III, na hromosomu 6. Članovi LY6 natporodice obično sadrže 70 do 80 aminokiselina, uključujući osam do 10 cisteina. |Većina proteina LY6 vezana je za ćelijsku površinu pomoću glikozilfosfatidilinozitola (GPI) sidra koje je direktno uključeno u transdukciju signala.[3]
