Požari koji gore u sjevernom NSW-u i jugoistočnom QLD-u 12. novembra 2019. godine.

U sezonskim australijskim požarima 2019.-20. je izgorilo oko 24 300 000 hektara, šume, uništieno je preko 3 000 zgrada (uključujući preko 1.300 kuća) i smrtno je stradalo 24 osobe do 4. januara 2020., a još šest je nestalih u državi Victoria .[1][2][3][4][5] Ovu sezonu požara neki smatraju jednom od najgorih, od kako pamte.[6] U decembru 2019. vlada Novog Južnog Velsa proglasila je vanredno stanje u Novom Južnom Walesu nakon što su rekordne temperature i dugotrajna suša pogoršale požare.[7][8] Procjenjeno je da je blizu pola milijarde životinja bilo pod utjecajem požarišta koji je u toku.[9][10]
