Proteinoliki-1 faktor A transcripcijske elongacije je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom TCEAL1.^[5]^[6]^[7]

Ovaj gen kodira člana genetičke generacije slične faktoru elongacije transkripcije A (SII) (TCEAL). Članovi ove porodice mogu funkcionirati kao jedarni fosfoproteini, koji moduliraju transkripciju koja ovisana o kontekstu promotora. Kodirani protein sličan je faktoru elongacije transkripcijskog A faktora transkripcije SII i sadrži motiv sličan cinkovom prstu kao i sekvencu povezanu sa faktorom transkripcije SII Pol II-vezanja. Učinak može ispoljavati putem interakcije protein-protein sa drugim regulatorima transkripcije, a ne direktnim vezivanjem DNK. Više članova porodice nalazi se na X hromosomu. Alternativna prerada rezultira u više varijanti transkripta koji kodiraju jednu izoformu.^[7]
