Funkcija
[uredi | uredi izvor]Receptor signalne sekvence (SSR) je glikozilirani endoplazmatski retikulum (ER), membranski receptor povezan s translokacijom proteina preko membrane ER. SSR se sastoji od dvije podjedinice, 34-kD glikoproteina kodiranog ovim genom i 22-kD-skog glikoproteina. Ovaj gen stvara nekoliko tipova iRNK, kao rezultat složene alternativne poliadenilacije. Ovaj gen je neobičan po tome što koristi sekvence poliA signalnih sekvenci koje su isključivo nekanonske.[5]
