Greetings,

I am pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2015 Wikimedia Foundation Elections. This year the Board and the FDC Staff are looking for a diverse set of candidates from regions and projects that are traditionally under-represented on the board and in the movement as well as candidates with experience in technology, product or finance. To this end they have published letters describing what they think is needed and, recognizing that those who know the community the best are the community themselves, the election committee is accepting nominations for community members you think should run and will reach out to those nominated to provide them with information about the job and the election process.

This year, elections are being held for the following roles:

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the decision-making body that is ultimately responsible for the long term sustainability of the Foundation, so we value wide input into its selection. There are three positions being filled. More information about this role can be found at the board elections page.

Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC)
The Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) makes recommendations about how to allocate Wikimedia movement funds to eligible entities. There are five positions being filled. More information about this role can be found at the FDC elections page.

Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) Ombud
The FDC Ombud receives complaints and feedback about the FDC process, investigates complaints at the request of the Board of Trustees, and summarizes the investigations and feedback for the Board of Trustees on an annual basis. One position is being filled. More information about this role can be found at the FDC Ombudsperson elections page.

The candidacy submission phase lasts from 00:00 UTC April 20 to 23:59 UTC May 5 for the Board and from 00:00 UTCApril 20 to 23:59 UTC April 30 for the FDC and FDC Ombudsperson. This year, we are accepting both self-nominations and nominations of others. More information on this election and the nomination process can be found on the 2015 Wikimedia elections page on Meta-Wiki.

Poziv na saradnju[uredi | uredi izvor]

Imam ideju da pošaljem email na nekoliko profesora, bivših studijskih kolega na Mašinskom fakultetu, u kome bi ih kao profesore, dekane ili asistenete, pozvao na saradnju, te da, neko od nas (možda kolega sa Mašinstva) jedan lijepo formulirani poziv podijeli po fakultetu u kome se pozivaju studenti na rad na wikipediji. Profesori bi nam mogli dati svoje stručne radove u elektronskoj formi, a studenti bi mogli da se raspišu i povećaju kvalitet članaka. Ovako imam jedno pitanje..Zasto kada ja napisem da sam to ja uradio neko od vas to izbirse moje ime ? Ovako ova tabela ne postoji i ovo sam ja radio od 19 maja i slobodno mogu reci da je to moja tabela i u mojem vlasnistvu jer nisam se mucio ovih dana da napravim tu tabelu i da neko drugi rekne da je napravio. Pa sad pitanje je da li se to moze nekako zastititi da samo ja mogu pravit tu tabelu ?? Posto znam u nekih navrata lik je nesto napravio i sad doalzi treci lik i govori to sam ja napravio nije ovaj. Pa eto ako moze nekako da se zastiti to ili da se ubaci ko je to napravio.Bio bih zahvalan. --Sedin7 (razgovor) 15:29, 21 maj 2015 (CEST)

Izmjene u člancima ne potpisuju se. Potpis se stavlja jedino na stranicama za razgovor. Dalje, ovo je slobodna enciklopedija koju svako može uređivati, kao što lijepo piše na početnoj stranici, a to je i temelj na kojem je Wikipedia osnovana. Nijedan članak nije ničije vlasništvo. Upoznaj se prvo malo s osnovnim stubovima Wikipedije, koje imaš u dobrodošlici na svojoj stranici za razgovor. Svaka izmjena automatski se bilježi u historiji izmjena bilo kojeg članka (to je prednost softvera na kojem Wiki-projekti funkcioniraju). Zaštićuju se članci za koje postoji bojazan da njihova tematika može dovesti do tzv. rata izmjena ili članci koji su često meta vandalizma. (Masovno?) preusmjeravanje naziva kategorija[uredi | uredi izvor]

Sve kategorije čije ime ide po šablonu "XXXX film" (npr. "2000 film") (bilo s tačkom, bilo bez tačke), "XXXX albumi" (npr. "2000 albumi"), "XXXX arhitektura" (npr. "2000 arhitektura") treba preimenovati u "Filmovi iz XXXX.", "Albumi iz XXXX." i "Arhitektura u XXXX.". Nadam se da je to moguće botom jer inače ima štošta posla. Ako ne može nego ručno, šta je tu je; može ići malo-pomalo, ali treba biti urađeno, a jednokratno je (kad se jednom ispravi, ostat će trajno). Stvarno začuđuje koliko se ranije nije vodilo računa o jeziku u nazivima kategorija (iako znam da to nije među glavnim stvarima na Wiki).
