James Francis Cameron (Kapuskasing, Ontario, 16. august 1954), kanadski je filmski režiser, producent, scenarist, montažer i izumitelj. Poznat je po svojim akcijskim i SF filmovima koji su obično komercijalno uspješni i vrlo inovativni. Tematski, Cameronovi filmovi općenito istražuju odnos između čovjeka i tehnologije. Cameron je režirao Titanic, koji je postao najuspješniji film svih vremena, sa svjetskom zaradom od 1.8 milijardi dolara. Autor je i franšize Terminator.
