Spisak mjesta djelovanja restrikcijskih enzima donosi popis najistraživanijih restrikcijskih enzma, sa početkom na A. Sadrži približno 30 takvih enzima. Date su slijedeće informacije:

  • Enzim: Prihvaćeno ime molekule, u skladu sa međunarodno prihvaćenom nomenklaturom[1][2] i bibliografskim referencama. (Za dalje čitanje: pogledati sekciju "Nomenklatura" u članku "Restrikcijski enzim".)
  • PDB kod: Kod korišten da identificira strukturu proteina u PDB, koja je baza podataka proteinskih struktura. 3D atomska struktura proteina donosi visoko vrijedne informacije za razumijevanjee intimate detalla njihovog mehanizma akcije.[3][4]
  • Izvor: Organizam koji prirodno proizvodi enzim.
  • Sekvenca prepoznavanja: Sekvenca gdje enzim prepoznaje segment DNK za koji se specifično veže.
  • Rez:Mjesto djelovanja restrikcijskog enzima i DNK produkta siječenja. Sekvenca prepoznavanja i mjesto reza se obično poklapaju, ali ponekad mjesto reza može biti desetak nukleotida dalje od mjesta prepoznavanja.[5][6]
  • Izoshizomeri i neoshizomeri: Izoshizomer jeste enzim koji prepoznaje istu sekvencu kao sljedeću. Neoshizomer je specijalni tip izoshizomera koji prepoznaje istu sekvencu kao drugu, ali reže na drugačiji način. Za svaki enzim je naznačen maksimalni broj od 8-10 najčešćih izoshizomera, ali ih može biti i više. Neoshizomeri su prikazani boldirano u zelenoj boji fonta (tj. BamHI). Kad je prikazano "None on date", znači da tamo, u bazama podataka nisu zabilježeni izoshizomeri o tom podatku sa jasno definiranim mjestom rezanja. Izoshizomeri su označeni bijelim fontom na sivoj podlozi i korespondiraju sa enzimima koji nisu na prikazanim spiskovima:
