Pulitzerova nagrada za historiju jedna je od sedam američkih Pulitzerovih nagrada koje se godišnje dodjeljuju za književnost, dramu i muziku. Dodjeljuje se od 1917. za istaknutu knjigu o historiji Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Jedna je od originalnih Pulitzera, jer je program inauguriran 1917. sa sedam nagrada, od kojih su četiri dodijeljene te godine.[1] Program Pulitzerove nagrade također je prepoznao neka historijska djela svojom nagradom za biografiju iz 1917. i Općom nagradom za nefikciju iz 1962. Finalisti se proglašavaju od 1980, obično još dvoje pored pobjednika.[2]
