Sintaksin-16 jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom STX16 sa hromosoma 20.[5][6][7][8]

Povezan je sa pseudohipoparatireoidizmom tipa Ib. Gubitak ovog gena uzrokuje gubitak metilacije na egzonu GNAS1 A/B.[7]
