Y-kutijski vezujući protein 1 poznat i kao Y-kutijski transkripcijski faktor ili nukleazno osjetljivi element-vezujući protein 1 jest protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran genom YBX1 sa hromosoma 1.[5]

Klinički značaj

YBX1 je potencijalna meta lijeka u terapiji raka.[7] YB-1 pomaže u replikaciji adenovirusa tipa 5, vektora koji se često koristi u genskoj terapiji.[7] Dakle, YB-1 može izazvati "onkolitski" efekt u YB-1 pozitivnim ćelijama raka tretiranim adenovirusima.
