Kortikotropinoliki intermedijarni peptid (CLIP), poznat i kao fragment adrenokortikotropnog hormona 18-39 [ACTH (18-39 )], je koji se prirodno pojavljuje kao endogeni neuropeptid sa dokosapeptidnom strukturom i sekvencom aminokiselina: Arg-Pro-Val-Lys-Val-Tyr-Pro-Asn-Gly-Ala-Glu-Asp-Glu-Ser-Ala-Glu-Ala-Phe-Pro-Leu-Glu-Phe. CLIP nastaje kao proizvod cijepanja veza u proteolizi fadenokortikotropnog hormona (ACTH),[1][2] što je zauzvrat produkt cijepanja proopiomelanokortina (POMC).[3] Njegova fiziološka uloga je istraživana u različitim tkivima,[4][5] posebno u centralnom nervnom sistemu.[6][7][8][9][10]
